Isnt this just a "look how there aren't as many issues with NVidia cards as apposed to ATI cards thread"

While I think its nice to see if certain models etc have reliability issues I don't think this will end well lol.

No it is more a case of lets find out how many people have had problems with the latest NVidia cards.

This thread is not for debating AMD v NVidia cards either and I hope the Dons delete any such posts very quickly.

Might as well add a little fair contract

    290x / ASUS / 1 worked fine

290 Pro / Sapphire / 1 DOA waiting on replacement

I hope that's the case. Im sure there was a link a month or so back about the RMA rate on NVidia cards it was very impressively low.

Unfortunately my pc is only packing a msi GE 770, so I don't make the grade. Upgrade time soon once I decide on a new monitor.

I understand where you're coming from but for someone like me who's been churning over in my mind whether to get a 290 or 780 (which is a huge amount of money for me)
it's really helpful to see whether my perception that going AMD is like rolling a dice and Nvidia is a sure thing is accurate.
