How many lessons?

I had two lessons with a driving school before passing my test. However for six weeks prior to that my father got me to drive him around to the tune of 50 miles a day. The formal lessons were just to teach me to pass the test, not how to drive. i.e. don't scale down the gears as my father always did.

Ditto, although i had 3 or 4, an hour per lesson. One of which was directly before my test.

Erm over about 18 months I took about 25 Lessons and lots and lots of private practice in my own car. Passed my test in my own car too :)

If I pass next friday I will have had... 28 hours of lessons, and no private practice. My driving is to test standard, although I have the occasional odd moment, but I have 6 hours more to sort that. Manouvres need a little work also.

21 hours, 16 lessons.

I was absolutly terrible at the end before my test. But a can of redbull and a little determination got me through. :p

course of six lessons then one more on the day of the test. so yeah...7

But i already knew how to drive reasonably well before i turned 17

Around a dozen 2hr lessons. The only time I went out for some practice with my dad (in my mum's car) we broke down about half a mile from home. Hadn't even left the village :o:(
