How many people ended up with their first love?

No split up a year ago after 7.5 years together.. She wouldn't marry me and had serious commitment issues. She is also fairly crazy.

I've dated someone else since then however she turned out to be a bunny boiler. Looking forward to 2011 hopefully I'll meet someone who doesn't want to change me and doesn't need to be stitched to me 24/7.

Still a little hole in my life atm, living alone is tough.

First proper love (not that high-school crush pish..) lasted for 3 years before she broke up with me. Could never see me getting back with her even if I was single. Currently in a relationship that's just made it past the two year mark. :)

He was in the year above me at school as first asked me out when I was in year 7. I laughed and said no because he was a ginger. I don't remember ever seeing him again until we went on a school trip in 6th form. My standards had obviously dropped at this point as we got together on the trip. 11 years later we're happily married, and yes I do live in fear of having ginger offspring.

It skips generations. Your kids should be ok, but your grandkids will probably be ginger.

Best not have children to avoid problems half a century from now.

Nope. Together 6 years and I broke it off a year ago. Very recently started questioning whether I did the right thing. Madness lies down that road though so I'll be trying to nip those thoughts in the bud.

Not me, she is now preggers with the guy she left me for :o

I was so in love with her and it knocked me for 6 when we split, but now i look back and realise what a mardy boring muppet she was.

I'm happy with someone else now :D
