How many people know who you are?

Can this be people who you've met once, but if you met up again you'd remember one another? Owing to my travels and lifestyle for 10 years I've clocked up a lot of contacts. However it's really hard to say. Probably nearing 1000?
 
Primary school: about 10 - Could be more but i doubt they'd still recognise me.
Secondary school: about 400
College: about 600
Uni: precisely 2
People in my area: about 30
Misc: 30

Well, I don't know how to put this, but I'm kind of a big deal. I have many leather bound books, and my apartment smells of rich mahogany!
 
I'd say a few hundred people actually know me properly, but there is the majority of people at my college who simply know of me as "the guy in the poster" (there's a massive poster of me just down the left corridor from reception - everyone walks passed it... I'm basically the face of Guildford College).
 
God knows, more people seem to know me than I know though. Embarrassing when people say "hi remember me" in a pub and you have absolutely no idea who they are.
