How much do people pay for a phone?

Nice price. I got a second hand p30 second hand "like new" which it was for around £300 and compare the the phone x when I got for £999.makes no sense to me any more
 
Ive always bought samsung's. im using the s9+ now and was going to get the s20 ultra im not so sure now as no headphone jack and too expensive so i may go mid range this upgrade.
 
I've always normally been quite conservative when buying a phone aiming for 'price to performance' handsets, I then took a gamble on the Mate 20x last year which was completely out of my normal price range, paid £699, was a scary purchase for me but so glad I did, been one of my better purchases, it's made me rethink the 'price to performance' strategy on phones as I've had so much enjoyment with it.
