How much do you reckon the GTX 550/560 range will be after Xmas?

Don't really see the point in moving from the 460 to a 550/560... The 550 performs worse than both the 768mb and 1gb variant of the 460. The 560Ti performs better but not not enough to consider it a worthy upgrade. Should try aim for a 570 instead.

Don't expect the price to change... but if AMD gets their 7000 series out by then and performs really well, then there "might" be a price drop for the 500 series cards.
 
The price of the current gen 560Ti will come down before Xmas because of the release of the new 560Ti (i.e. the 570 with a new badge). However that could take months.

What I'd really like to know is when the Battlefield 3 Asus 560Ti bundles are coming out and at what price?

Anyone from OCUK got any info?

Thanks a lot for the advice! I'd rather spend a see a noticable different.

What do you think of AMD? I hear their cards get slated so much...
 
If you want AMD then a 6970 is similiar to the 570 performance. But since you're waiting for after christmas, might as well wait and see what the 7000 series offer?
