How much does it take for you to feel drunk?

If I drink beer I feel drunk pretty quickly usually after 3 pints I'm pretty tipsy but I can drink a lot of spirits with a mixer and not feel drunk.

opposite here...if i stay just with beer i can drink quite happily 6-8 pints; if i start to mix or just drink spirits it all goes downhill rather quickly

Do people actually drink spirits because they enjoy the taste, i don't get it it either taste like chemicals or sick.

3 or 4 beers.

the cheaper ones tend to. but nice whiskey, vodka, tequila... essentially you pay for what you get. the more expensive ones taste good

I used to be a power drinker and easily sup 12 pints, followed by a few Vodka's.

But now I am such a soup drinker, I would be struggling after 5 pints

Sometimes I start to feel drunk after one pint, other times I can down 3 - 4 shots before reaching the same point.

Since losing 9 stone in weight, about 1 pint and I'm pretty merry, 2-3 and I'm full on drunk.

Embarrassingly little but then I very rarely drink "heavily".

I also don't particularly like beer and getting drunk on wine tends to take a while and whisky is too expensive.

8 pints of beer or a bottle of wine and I'm quite drunk, to get full on sloshed +50%

And I'm a lightweight compared to some of the guys I know!

Bottle and a half of wine and that's me done. No idea on pints as I have a bladder the size of a walnut and get funny looks going to the bog two times per pint. Avoid spirits at all costs.

Never enjoyed the feeling of actualy been drunk, dont get me wrong i drink but in very limited amounts, ushally just a Ginger beer (crabbys) or a JD & coke once in awhile... im such a lightweight anyway.
