How much is too much?

As everyone else has said, take your own stuff

But a big mac a day isnt going to do any damage, assuming you have normal breakfasts and dinners :)

I'd definitely take your own food in if there is no where local that can provide food that:
A: You like.
B: Is reasonably healthy to be eating every day.
C: Is reasonable quality.
D: Is reasonably priced.

Besides anything else, taking your own sarnies/packed lunch in with you is likely to save you a small fortune and you know exactly what is in them.

I take cereal, sandwiches and fruit to work and eat at my desk. I used to buy sandwiches and it cost me a fortune (over £1k a year!)

No excuse really, get up 5 minutes earlier and make a sarnie and grab a bit of fruit!

Providing he keeps his other meals below the recommended amounts i don't think there would be a problem. However thats if he just has the big mac on its own and not the meal. As im pretty sure there is more , fat, salt and calories in the fries then the big-mac.

Buy:
Pasta
Cheap tomato and basil pasta sauce
Cheap Mattersons sausage thing

Cook pasta
Drain pasta, put back into pot
Add pasta sauce
Add sausage
Season to taste

BAM! Make it big enough for last a few days and whack it in a load of those plastic containers in the fridge and youve got a few days worth or lunch :)

i vote for making your won packed lunch sandwhiches you might think are boring but i garuntee if you get some nice buns and decent fillings you will be more than happy.

tigerpaw buns + chicken +bacon + lettuce + tomato + cucumber + pepper + salt = nomnomnomnom

At £1.30'ish each, lot's to choose from, large portions, fresh ingredients, no additives and proper meat!!! They are a bargain.
