How do people handle this question. Do you confidently tell them the true value boastfully ? Aggressively them to **** off and mind their own business ? or be rather British and Awkward about it and talk to the person asking the question, but not really answer the question because talking about money seems too uncouth for you ?

I’ve clearly never had a good enough car, as I’ve never been asked the value on one.
I’ve chatted to enthusiasts before about a car, but that’s different.

I've had a few people ask how much the Baja is worth. It's hard to put a value on it really, according to WBAC, I'd be lucky to get a fiver for it.

How much someone is willing to pay, and I'm willing to take to no longer have it.

I no longer want to talk about it. It's like asking what's your salary. I've had one person get really jealous before and that annoyed me

Money (and expensive trinkets like cars and watches) is a very strange thing to get jealous about. I used to think it was just folks taking an interest or just plain curious which I’m fine with. However too many just get plain envious and start sniping. I can’t be arsed with that
