So I've been doing my best to ignore my ex as she was ruining my life. I though I'd gotten rid of her when I get a text quite nicely asking if I will come and see her. I ignore once again and think nothing of it until a couple of hours later when I get another text:

'Well its your loss 4 not gettin back in touch, serves u right 4 tryin 2 b selfish towards me, thinking that I actually wanted something from you. As it turns out I wanted to give you £400, I've been saving. Maybe next time the ego you seem to have developed may not get in the way! I was trying to do the right thing.'

I feel like she was just trying to buy me back now she has some cash (she did actually owe me, but I never really thought I would see it). This has really irritated me cause I want nothing to do with her but the cash would have been nice, what should I do?

if she owes it to you get it off her, and then tell her you never want to see her again (if thats how you feel)

I am tempted to tell her that I don't want to be her friend but, if she wants to give me the money she's more than welcome to. BUT that would mean contacting her, which I don't want to do without getting the cash...

If you really want the cash.. and think she might probably have it to give.. send her her own medicine.

"Hey, i got your message at last. Apologies for not replying but my phone has been broken and i only just got the repaired one back. However accusing me of a big ego and being selfish was sorely mistaken. I cant believe you think these things of me and i am truly hurt. If you want to do the right thing and pay me back i am willing to accept it and forgive you, however do not think that me accepting the cash is a new relationship."

Naturally modify slightly to certain needs.

Sounds good, although I can't deny that I do have an ego, you should see how sexy I am!
