Iam about to put my old Nissan N15 almera onto auction.

Its had 2 prevoius owners, 55K on the clock, with service history from 28K miles. Ive started an ebay auction with it at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4645838209&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MESE:IT&rd=1

however Ive had a few people ask me for quick sale / buy it now.

Autotrader sees these cars go for about 1600-1800, I had chips away look at the problems and they qouted me 200 pounds to get the bodywork perfect.

Would I be wrong in asking about 1400 for the car?

I am new to selling such a big item on ebay, anyone with any expierence is greatly appreciated.

Whats up with the massive lettering??

And next time maybe a spell check / someone to give it the once over

ok spell checked, and Ive removed the caps.

Cheers.

about the auctual car, based on the condition / description, I hope its just worded right. I had a someone offer me 1,300 for it, I think I am gonna hold out and let some bids start.

sorted the text, it looked fine for me as i used firefox when uploading this seemed to be an issue I/e users it looked massive. Anyway I ve sorted out the text and uploaded more open images.

No disrespect but that bit at the end containing the information about tyrekickers makes you sound like a back street car dealer.

Basically I have sold a couple of cars on ebay and no one has come to see the car until after the auction. Most wont because they have no idea what the finishing price will be. If someone wins it, comes to see it and refuses it, just offer it to the next bidder. To be honest the orginal bidder will have it 9 times outa 10.

is this better, Ive removed all the bits at the end as I think it will just make people think twice when placing bids?

This is how we do it :D

But yes, yours looks very readable and quite friendly now.

Not the best of photos mind, but still - better than other efforts! :)

IMO, auctions like that sell the car soooo much better than your normal half a paragraph about the car.

"car runs great, good engine, strong runner, intrerior tidy, call me for more info", thats never going to sell well.
