Check the front of your gas meter - it should have either "ft3" or "m3" on it. If it's m3 and the supplier think it's ft3, then that would explain the kWh conversions from your energy supplier - and your supplier will need to correct your readings and bills accordingly.

Its cubic feet. On the bill there is a "metric conversion factor" of x2.83 .... is that correct?
