Depends how you define spam. I must get about 10 emails a day from my uni/department and another 2 or 3 due to an email account I was told i must have to apply for a job (inexplicably). Then there's another 5 or so from various sources which I can't stop - edit: that's what gets through the filter
And that's before we get to all the unsolicited rubbish (though gmail is admittedly very good at filtering it out after a bit of time setting it up).
between 10-15 a day on my real e-mail. Oddly I get even fewer on the gmail account I use for most non-personal Internet matters only 3-5 a day.
I guess I'm on the luckier side of things, my step father has roughly 100 a day, and he's changed addresses several times. He's trying to figure out exactly which one of the companies he gives his address to is actually selling his address to spammers.
