How much would integrate a few ubuntu computers to a Windows Domain?

How would you integrate Ubuntu machines to a Windows Domains?

If its only a handful of machines would you just use local Ubuntu accounts and connect to shares using your Windows credentials?

Can be a bit of a bugger at times (and make sure everything is using the same time source or kerberos can get a bit funky ...)
