How much you pay for your Broadband internet connection ???

i pay around 25 pounds a month for what turns out to be a max 1.5mb connection from talk talk, formerly tiscali. can anyone else smell a sour deal?

matters aren't helped by my being slightly out in the country, but fear not bt infinity is coming! or so they say, to my town (tunbridge wells), with the hotspot (not sure exactly the name - the place where they install it) supposedly being installed only half a mile or so away from my house.

not seen anyway else mention bt infinity yet? does anyone have it? is it really all they're cracking it up to be?

can't see it being anything other than an improvement tbh, so can't really wait!
Its fiberoptic, so Virgin media speeds

£23.50 - Talktalk 8Mbs and I get 7.5Mbs.

Includes telephone line and free national and international calls at any time. Excludes mobile and 0845 numbers.

Good for calling to States on hardware queries etc.

im getting my new internet on tuesday, just moved into my first flat and decided to go with be unlimited, with bt line rental, so same price as above and i asked on the phone and the speeds i will get will be 17mb.

I've just moved into a flat too, gone with Be and got my telephone line activated through the Post Office as there's no contract and I'm hoping Be will take it over so the rental is a bit cheaper. If not, no biggie, least the Post Office don't enforce a contract on you.

I get my Infinity Broadband through BT for £19.99 a month.

I pay £7.50 a month of O2's upto 8MB (only get about 5 due to distance from exchange)

I dont pay any line rental as I run it over the top of my works BT phone line that they pay rental for.

I could get work to pay the BB rental too, but I have to go with their carrier of choice which by all accounts is pants. Id rather fork out £7.50 myself and know Ive got a good connection/usage cap (ie, None!)

I pay £7.50 from o2. I get around 7mb. I am now out of my contract so looking for other providors to reduce my bills even further.

I don't recall having a single issue with o2 through my 12 month contract.

I too got £100 cashback through quidco. I am one happy customer.

Originally started with Freeserve and have stayed with them all the way through the Wanadoo stage and onto Orange.

I now pay just over £15 per month for unlimited 8MB broadband (max we can get around our neck of the woods :() along with a free mobile and 200 minutes anytime voice calls as well as 100 texts.
Obviously line rental with BT has to go on top of this, can't think how much that is off the top of my head.

However I did have to put on my angry "I'm leaving this **** company" voice to get this cracking deal a couple of years ago as they were messing me around something chronic :D

My bro's paying £30 per month for 20mbit broadband (virginmedia) and £15 per month for phone with unlimited anytime calls (Sky)
