SHOCK AS £5k 330CI IS ABUSED SHED

There was widespread shock today as OcUK forums discovered a £5k BMW 330Ci Sport for sale on Pistonheads only for it to turn out to be a thrashed example with three blurry photographs taken outside a sports centre. People wept in the street as they learnt the shocking realisation that most BMW's are owned by idiots and that buying one is perhaps a bit like putting your hand into a snake pit.

Nobody was available for comment.

Even if I wanted to buy a BMW for the purpose of drifting round quiet roundabouts I would want to be the first owner of the car who used it for that purpose...

Nobody for comment? LIES!

Lets go over to OCuK News' resident BMW expert, [TW]Fox, for his input.

"Well Diane this is a CLASSIC case of what you would not bargain for on a £5k 330ci purchase, if we look at the....."

I'm half tempted to email him saying "If the car drives 'tight' as advertised, why does it appear as if you are struggling to negotiate the roundabout as depicted in fig.3? Perhaps you'd like to have the geometry looked at before you subject any unsuspecting buyers to this vehicle"

;)

6/10 for effort :)

10/10 for typical over reaction/egg on face post.

I was pointing out that the advert is pretty good bar the 3 picture, not that it was a pristine example.

The owner thinks he's doing himself a favour by posting the 3rd picture!

Yes, but why would somebody WILLINGLY post that picture when selling a car? That takes a special breed of idiot.

I'm a big believer in the fact that the person you are buying from says a lot about the car. People buy people after all. So using the reverse, this guy is clearly an idiot!

I can't believe someone would be stupid enough to advertise their car in this way. Yes, we know it's RWD but the only thing that picture proves is that the car has been abused and driven badly. Good work!

How can you tell he's Asian? That's not an Asian only name. It's a Muslim name. He could be Asian, Black, White or whatever....

Asian surname, plus I've never known of a black or white muslim to be named or renamed "Sameer".

Still, it was a racist and stereotypical comment... but each to his own I guess...:(

Although the idea of posting a pic of the car your trying to sell going sideways is a bad idea, does that instantly make it "abused".

The amount of "RWD is where its at" spouted on here surprises me that getting it sideways automatically means the car is abused. Judging by the RWD shenanigans on here, there must be a fair few abused cars owned my motors members?

Not automatically, but think about it. If they have got somebody to take a picture of them sliding around a roundabout in order to sell the car, it does not inspire confidence. I'd be inclined to trust my instincts on this one.

I bet there are a few people on here who slide their RWDs around. If they told me that I'd think there was more of a chance of them being someone who abuses the car. Someone who looks after a car well is unlikely to be sliding it around corners. Sure, there'll be a few exceptions but common sense will tell you I'm right.
