How to configure Media Portal with my TV Tuner?

Hi

I'm trying to get Media Portal to work with my TV Tuner, Star Trek is on at 8 and I don't want to miss it.

How do I get my TV Tuner (A USB DVD-T or W/E sort) to work with Media Portal? On the main app I click My TV and nothing happens

Any ideas?
