How to fix this, PP

Hi all,

Shot this today:

And there is a big reflection from the sun

Is there any way to fix this using PP? Also how can I avoid this while taking the shot?

You can't, you either expose for the bug or the blown section (which will cause the rest to under exposed).

The alternative is wait until its cloudy or shoot at sun rise/set, midday sun is harsh.

ok that's no biggy then, I cropped it but will try to avoid in the future.

You could also try and take two pictures (one exposed for the bug and one for the sun) and then merge them in PP, but I imagine that'd be hard with leaves and bugs moving around and whatnot

Ooooooooooor use flash.
