how to flash 560ti twin frozr II 1gb

Ok guys so im using msi afterburner to overclock but no matter what i try the games are running exactly the same and not better. Ive overclocked everything and still the same peformance.

Ive also overclocked the cpu from 3.2 to 3.8ghz and still no change

Any ideas of what could be happening?

Cheers

What do you mean by "not better"?

They're not going to look any different at the same settings.

Overclocking should just increase the frame rate or allow you to use slightly better settings at a similar frame rate.

Thats what i mean

Im trying to get a better framerate but its staying the same no matter how far i push it lol

any ideas mate

went from 880 to 950 core clock

and 2100 to 2200 memory and nothing

or am i doing something wrong here or am i expecting to much?

thanks

getting about 40-50fps in arma 2 no matter what i try

It's going to be difficult to spot a few FPS difference during actual gameplay as there are so many variables.

Run something like the Heaven 3.0 benchmark at stock settings and then overclocked.

As the benchmark is exactly the same each time you run it you'll see if the overclock is making a difference.

I believe Afterburner has that feature.

Don't use it myself so hopefully this makes some sense:

1. Open MSI Afterburner On-screen display server; (is installed with msi afterburner, use "Start" > "Search" or look @ "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Bundle\OSDServer\R*TSS.exe"

2. In the top of the page: set "Show On-screen Display" to on (IS OFF BY DEFAULT);

3. "Start with Windows" to "on" - if you want.

4. Minimize the On-screen display server

Or is there just an option in Afterburner to enable it?

IM always in and out the BIOS in nvidia - if you like a bit of code editing just go in with a bios editor and modify the correct fields - save the bios - and then apply it to the card..

I tend to use AB to test before hand though.
