How to make an Arc on Photoshop

This is really bugging me, How do I make a simple arc line on photoshop?

Something really basic like this?

Also is there a better way of making a simple line, because quite frankly, the line tool sucks(unless its just me)

You could use the Eliptical Marque tool and put a huge stroke on it for the Ark. And for a straight line, use the pencil tool and shift. While holding shift the pencil will only draw vertically and horizontally.

Or for the ark, you could draw two elipses, give the one on top the same colour as your canvas, then just shift it left/right/up/down untill you get your desired ark.

follow that tut, but substitute the text for a cut out circle.

might need to do it a few times before you get an angle/perspective you like.

Thanks mate, Didnt realise you could do that with the pencil + Shift.

I will have a go at the arcs now.
