What's so hard to believe, I was earning £300 p/day when I was 22 contracting in IT, no degree, no academic qualifications. There's no hard and fast rule for what you can or can't earn.

I have nothing to add other than, Good luck OP, let the good times role for you mate.

I just worked out if you save like that for another 10 years you'll have almost (if not over) £250K in the bank. good times....!!!11!

Indeed, everyone has been given different opportunities in life some take the bull by the horns early, some start later. For some money is not important, for others it just becomes part of their lives.

Did I wish I earned more? Of course - but I'm working towards that.

Could I survive on less? Of course - but I've become accustomed to my current way of life - that's not to say I'll find it impossible.

For some people £100 a month is a lot of money, for others it's petty cash.

Rather than comparing yourself to the OP who IMO, didn't come across as a troll, but someone who's landed on their feet and wants to get a bit more out of their savings, offer advice and guidance.

Good on them I say.

airline or not, the expence and time required to be a pilot is well beyond 5 years...

And you cant fly or learn untill 18
