How to mix 2 songs?

Fire up Audacity, import both tracks so they're layered over each other, and export to .wav or .mp3. I think Audacity is free, but not totally certain.

hes talking about proper beat matching/mixing.

Hey mate, dont get time to visit much, this was my rushed answer this morning ;)

Excellent :)

As for the type of mixing I intend to do, is taking a basic beat from one song (Reggaeton genre) and mixing it with a midi beat and lyrics from say RnB or Rap genre. Possibly even several different songs, I have many ideas of what will go well together.

try the ableton demo, mixing anything together with it is easy peasy , adding acapellas over another tunes beat is especially easy with it
