how to put achi on a asus p5n32e sli plus

The nforce 590 chipset doesn't support AHCI. It supports some of the features in AHCI like NCQ but does so through it's own driver rather than the standard AHCI command set.

EDIT: Looking at the wrong board, it's a 650/570 combo on the Plus model

EDIT2: Neither the 650 or 570 chipsets support AHCI.

okay thanks thats good to know

does this explain why my ssd is only at 5.9 on the windows 7 score instead of about 7.4

the drive is a samsung 64gb ssd and its showing up as a scsi drive :S is this becuase of the missing achi support
