How to stop sauces sticking to top of squeezy bottle (lid down bottles)

I raise your squeezy sauce issue and would like to highlight the struggle to get the last of the marmite from the jar, such a frustratingly shaped container.
I use the last bits of Marmite as a stock. Pour hot water into jar about a quarter full, place lid. Over a sink shake the jar. Great for beef dishes and gravy.
