Celebrity snapper Harry Borden, who has photographed everyone from Angelina Jolie to Dizzee Rascal, offers advice on portraiture to two novices before they are tested with assignments including taking a photograph for the Help for Heroes charity. Might be worth a watch although it may be dumbed down as it's on C5!

It's clearly aimed at beginners but it has stacks of stuff in it that we all could do with remembering!

Did you really expect anything more informative for a half hour slot.
You wanna learn something go practice until your arms drop off.

To me it seemed to promote the execution of photographs under point and shoot/mobile phone cameras with no mention of taking control of anything other than turning off the flash.

Lets face it. Stunning portraits come from both natural light and flash.

they could have at least touched on DOF for example for portraits.. especially when moaning about clutter backgrounds.
