How to test my PC

Hey guys - just wondering how best to test how well my new build is operating?

Ive seen cinebench and blender are used my the reviewer sites but wasn’t sure if that was what a mere mortal would also use?

You can always use 3dMark, it has several options and you can test a mixture of cpu and gpu. If you want to test the limits of your cooling for cpu, I would suggest prime95. If you want to burn your gpu I suggest furmark, but make sure you have enough cooling. Unigine heaven was another one if I remember the name correctly.
Or simply buy a demanding game and play it at higher resolutions.
