How would i get from Colchester to Barnet, London by train?

I never really take trains and have never properly been to london, but i expect ill need to train into central london, then get the tube out again.

Any help with what station to go to ect. ect would be great.

Cheers,

Dan

Use Trainline as it will plan your journey. I assume you'd go to New Barnet station but it does give you the option to put in a postcode to find the nearest station to where you want to be exactly :)

A few choices.

Train to Liverpool Street, then circle line/hammersmith and city/metropolitan line westbound to Kings Cross-St. Pancras. Change to Northern Line northbound High Barnet branch, stay on to the end of the line which is High Barnet station.

Train to Liverpool Street, then circle line/hammersmith and city/metropolitan line westbound to Kings Cross-St. Pancras. Then King's Cross mainline station, First Capital Connect service to New Barnet station.

Train to Liverpool Street, then circle line/hammersmith and city/metropolitan line westbound to Moorgate. Then mainline station, First Capital Connect service to New Barnet station.

Depends where in Barnet you want as to which station is best.
