How would you set these drives up?

Hi,

I am about to build my new system and am looking for advice on what drive layout you would use.

I am going to install Vista and thinking about XP as a second boot but not sure about that yet.

The drives I have are a 7200.11 and 2 36Gb raptors.

I though about using the Raptors in RAID for the OS and normal software sucks as fireawall etc.

Space isnt an issue as i idont need a great deal but i would like quite as far as possible.

So what would you do and how would you set these drives up?

Whatever config you put the Raptors in, I would use the 7200.11 for storage. ie backup etc.

As regards what to do with the Raptors:

1) Put them into RAID0 (stripe 32KB), then make 2 partitions, say 20GB for XP and the rest for Vista, if you are dual booting it is easier to set up by installing Vista first....

Or:

2) Use the Raptors as 2 single HDD, install Vista on one and XP on the other.
