How's your day been?

Boring as sin! Usually Tuesday goes pretty fast, but the only thing that went fast today was the work I had to do. And as it's not even half way through the week, that's not good, not good at all.

Roll on Friday afternoon!
 
Not been a bad day!

Day off college, so woke up at 10, put series 2 of Monkey Dust on and got back in to bed, woke up again at half 1 haha!

Tidied my room a bit, made some more plans for my 2013 massive European road trip, Play some Jimmys Vendetta and gunna play some FIFA and maybe some COD and have a shower before bed for college at 9am tomorrow :)

Not bad, finished work at 0700, short sleep when I got back and then chilled out with some music. Just eaten way too much and it actually hurts to move. Not good.
 
I was having an ok day! No major annoyances until 5.27pm the phone rings! that customer just generally got on my nerves! answered all my questions before id even finished them and kept telling me I was wrong and generally being annoying! really wound me up! And then it turned out I was right after all!!

It's been terrible!

Had loads of work to do and had to train 2 new staff members on our systems because i'm leaving soon!

And i found out the dress code for my new work placement - they told me it was smart casual which i translate to nice shoes, jeans and a nice shirt.

They came back and said black shoes, black trousers, shirt and tie... now to me that is smart, not smart casual.

I bought a load of new clothes for this new job only to find that i now need to buy some more! :mad:
 
Started work at 7am.

Had a filter coffee followed by another.

Banged heads with social services twice by midday.

Went banzai after 2 with bumps, thefts and doing social services job for them.

Finished at 7pm.

Alright day in all.
 
...ok my day was going well until this evening:


I'm leaving BT and my final bill is £80
To fix the rear light on my car it's going to be £100 delivered for the part then fit myself
Car tax is due in 2 days (which I forgot) and thats £245...fair enough....but my V5 and reminder document are 150miles away...mmm
 
Spent the day running around doing "favours" at a client while I was supposed to be doing something else for said client. Then I had a row with someone I care about.

Now I have to go back tomorrow and finish the job, assuming I don't get bothered all day again! :(
 
An okay, uneventful day I guess. Was sorting out retail prices, checking stock levels, started a purchase order for our main delivery. General number crunching really.
 
i went back to the gp, got signed off for a further 2 weeks post my car accident.
Got an email to say that ocuk have dispatched the laptopped i RMA'ed.
Got the settlement figure from Tescos car insurance....£3400 for my 6 year old focus. (could have been worse)
other than that ive not done much as whiplash is bloomen painful.

Phone up my GP's this morning to make an appointment only to be told they had a meeting this afternoon so were only taking emergancy appointments this morning (and whilst I need to see a doctor I would n't class it as an emergancy) ... so I get to try and arrange an appointment tomorrow morning and spend another day working from home :(

Signed in to work email to find an escalation from a guy who looks after a system I used to up until about 15 months ago ... thing is what he escalated is basic stuff which if he could be bother to actually investigate himself he could fix in five minutes (without an outage) ... pointed him in the appropriate direction and let my boss know as this isn't the first time and it needs to be sorted out ...

Found out we'd been offered some cheap kit for our test lab which are higher models than what we originally asked for ... but need to get detailed spec's and prices so we can see if it's actually worth it ...
