Hi Guys,

Im new to the forum after a friends recommendation as i have a bit of a problem with my laptop.

When im under normal load ie: web browser, msn and media player I am seeing my core temp shoot up to around 92c!!!

This is causing intermittent shut downs and crashes and i was wondering if any one has any ideas on making it run cooler before i send it back to HP.

Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated :)

Does anybody know what HP are like on returns? Like say if I complained til they were sick of me would they upgrade my smoking, red hot laptop for something a little bit cooler?
