HP DC7600 video card

Can anyone suggest a suitable video card for this machine so I can run two monitors?

What will you be doing on the PC? Is it the stock HP PSU?

Small Form Factor (SFF)

Just used for general surfing and a bit of Photoshop etc, no gaming though

I'm just after VGA connections, nothing fancy

The cards RJC suggested will do just fine then. One connection is DVI, which can be easily converted to VGA with the supplied adapter, but you might need a HDMI -> VGA adapter too since the supplied low profile backplate may require you to disconnect the VGA ribbon.

Also, could I use this card for one monitor and still use the on board for the other? Or do I have to disable the on board graphics card?

Judging from the diagrams on HP's site, as long as you replace the backplate with the low profile one, it will fit just fine. You might be able to use the onboard, but it depends if HP's BIOS allows it. Sometimes the BIOS will lock the onboard GPU when it detects a discrete GPU and you can't re-enable it.
