Ive been offered one of these for £180. Its a smallish card similar size to a 1060 mini. It only has a single 6 pin connector for power so its got me wondering if it will be a full fat 580. It was removed from a HP omen prebuilt pc

Full fat 4gb part as far as I can see - however it's unlikely to have much boost / overclocking headroom being constrained to 150W.

Part number for the card is 931738-001 from what I can gather.

You can change that in the bios without affecting anything else on the card. All Polaris cards have a tdp hard target which you can fiddle with. Personally I think 180 for a 4gb 580 of any variant seems a little steep, even more so when looking at cards like this.

Well the woman text me to say she had made a mistake and it was a RX480. Not a problem I said and offered a revised £125 which she accepted.

Got it home installed it and Radeon settings and GPU-Z report it as a 580 :)

Now to run some tests
