I don't think anyone is being racist, it is a joke about how the HP software doesn't seem to recognise black faces. Probably a bug or a technical limitation.

Why are you so shocked, do you think HP purposefully designed a computer that "doesn't like" black people?

more likely it's viral advertising now a load of people are going to go into pc shops to see if it actually does this.

Doesn't anyone else think that's they've just zoomed in on the video? It doesn't look mechanical enough.. just reminds me of Sony Vegas.
 
Its not racist at all really. Just poorly configured.

Did a module in the last year uni which was about biometrics and its a common problem that facial recognition has trouble with the sheer difference in skin tone in the human race.

Im more concerned that there is a woman called Wonda?
