HP Recovery Drive - need advice.

Hi, on my HP Laptop I keep getting a pop-up message stating that the recovery drive is almost full and to delete files. I've got 20.2mb of 9.00gb free. Now what i'm not sure about is which backup files should I be looking to get rid of, should I get rid of any or leave them alone.

I've never had any dealings with recovery drives before so not too sure what to do. Apologies if stupid question.

Usually you delete the oldest backups, though I don't know how your "recovery drive" is set up.

Is data automatically backed up to it on a schedule... do you just copy stuff to it?

Can you explain exactly how the data is getting to the recovery drive.
