Just spoken to my rep and he's not sure. They have not been told yet what's happening with the cancelled order stock. He doesn;t know whether they will go back up for sale or whether they have sufficient unfulfilled orders from legimate businesses to take all the stock.

I'll keep you posted.

I've just created a PCWB account and applied for a Business Account so let me know if they have any stock but have a limit per business still (or you can't afford to buy as many as they have) and I'll ring up as well.

Will do. We've had our account for 9 years so no problem there and there is no limit for a business order on numbers.

I suspect, if they do put stock back up, that it will be much less than I can afford to buy or need to satisfy the number of people on here who want one! lol

Just to add to my previous point...
I was not even asked any question about the buisness...which would have been fine as id have stuck um through as my neighbours business. The guy on the phone just said the accounts less than 24hours old and so it will be cancelled.

Bit crap that it lets you go through and order if your not supposed to be able to.
Same time, do understand they want to prioritise customers that have been around for more than just the touchpad though.

As someone else said, if anything this last week has shown how poor the infrastruture is for a lot of these retails online.
 
Not to mention the cost in labour of now phoning people and processing all these cancellations...

Put them on your site fine, but surely have a script in place to say you must have a business account in place for the last 24 hours to order..

All they have done is caused a feeding frenzy, and now they have to undo it all
 
This is just sick. Sick. I watch for over a week. I miss EVERY sale. This is impossible. I'm growing so tired, and all i want is my TouchPad 16GB. Just one. No Accessories, just one little TouchPad. I'm going to watch like a f'ing hawk now, I don't know how but I'm going to double down on WebOS like HP promised they would but never did.

Don't hate on my because of (very) low post count. I just didn't feel I had anything to contribute to this Stock Update thread (I still don't, but I'm desperate now)
 
If anyone has ordered any accessories from the HP store - just to let people know my order for a Touchstone has been accepted and has an ETA of the 13/09/2011
 
I called PCWB quoting my business account...

The telephone operator had no idea regarding Touchpads being cancelled due to not having an account older than 24 hours. He did state that it was a small batch that came in and a BIGGER batch is due in up to 4 weeks away.

Equanet said the same thing, so there is slight hope!

I have accounts with both Equanet, PCWB and HP EPP. I've missed out on ALL of them :(
 
For anyone very late to this party, can you please give us a quick synopsis?
I'm assuming I cant just go and buy one right now, with all the hoopla going on in this thread I can't quite make out what to do?

I have my own business, which seems like it might help?
