Ooh, my expensive 16gb touchpad arrived. If anyones wondering the Insight stock was sold to them by Westcoast... so that explains where that shipment went! To them and cleverboxes im guessing for a price. Cheeky sods... ah well, time to open it!
 
I can not help feeling the whole PCWB and to an extent FNAC have done nothing but ignite the tissue paper all over again, yesterday there seem to be an almost acceptance that people will not get one, at one point last night the crazy thread on hotdeals went 1hr 17 mins without a reply..

Now it is all started again everyone F5'ing the crap out of any store that lists them
 
I love seeing the desperation and the clamour.

Its more entertaining than TV.

Im sure its going to claim a victim, some loser will end up topping themselves cos they couldnt get a touchpad. lulz.

I have a day off tomorrow. I seriously considered just staying in bed and checking all sites every 5 seconds...... I am still considering it :-P

Yeah I support this view - I would never expect to jump infront of the queue. Makes sense to give the regulars first shout, helps to build up the community.
 
I have been monitoring this thread for a while, I ordered from PCWB this morning when I saw the post regarding Stock!

Went on, registered and placed an order for 32gb. Like others here it is sat saying order in progress, expected dispatch date today!

Had no conformation e-mail other than one from the registration. Just had a phone call from them asking to confirm my address. I told them and she said ok that's fine & I think she said the order will go through now but I'm not 100% as she was foreign.

Just waiting to see what happens now, she seemed ok with the address which is not a business or anything, just my home address.

Fingers Crossed!!!!

No trolling, its just that its frigging hilarious.

1) Missed touchpads @ Actual cheap price OH NOES

2) Search everywhere in the universe for one and complain about higher prices.

3) **** off ebay members selling for £200, FAR too expensive, NOT PAYING THAT.

4) INSIGHT HAVE SOME FOR £200, BUY BUY BUY!!

You couldnt make it up. Its almost like seeing exactly what's wrong with the consumerist society we live in right now.

HE HAS SOMETHING SO I MUST HAVE IT TOO.

Everyone should just chillout and wait 4 weeks, when millions of them will appear on ebay as people realise they are not actually useful for anything much.
 
Called PCWB on the off chance that they might have some cancelled stock lying about... Nope. They don't. Zilch!
 
Just got off the phone with PCWB and the system is apparently all over the place. They cannot tell if stock had been allocated or not even though payment has been taken.

According to the people I have spoken to you have not any guarantee of actually receiving a unit you have a deliver dispatch confirmation.

The e-mail should take no longer then 24hours but the volume and system problems means that it might take longer.

So figures crossed people.

I ordered 16gb at 8.42, went striaght to received, I then went back and ordered a 32gb one (as I wanted the 32GB, was just in a panic when I ordered) at 8.55

8.42 order went to recieved instantly

8.55 is now on received after phone call to confirm address..

I am still not sure though as we have been told they will cancel all new accounts, it could be just the system being on auto?
