Poll: HP TouchPad - $99 in US - any sign of UK drop?

Once I stifle a tear, t'is good to see someone not being a greedy ******* and someone else enjoying a bargain bit of tech.
I think people need to calm down a little - far too many handbags in here, and derailing the thread somewhat.
Greebo and Russinating have said they will get as many as they can via a business account if its possible - thats really nice of them and they have no obligation to sell to anybody on here, and they could quite easily make money from the bay. And they can sell to whoever they like.
As for what psycho sonny has said, he does have a point. For the guys who dont have access to the members market there is a feedback system in place like the bay - so people who have used it and got positive feedback are less likely to screw them over- as you would expect.
Selling by the MM is the only way allowed on here and older members who have used it with good feedback are probably more 'worthy' than newer members, but obviously at the sellers discretion.
If you are not careful this thread could easily get locked, especially with some of the insults flying around, and then we would all be screwed!

- The failed first order at ****. That bloody checkout just wouldn't work. Then when it finally did, the secure 3D thing came up blank
-Phantom order at Argos after the fleeting midnight appearence
-Then the EPP store (not the dodgy link!) I work for Microsoft and logged in using my email, but like everyone else my order still shows "in progress"!
I've risked emailing them too, but still haven't heard a peep...
I don't know if it's been mentioned already but one of the EPP links shows a page with Touchpad accessories in stock. Touchstones are at £35.
I'm just wondering what on earth we'll all search for when we finally throw in the towel!

I suspect the "can I have any spares you have" comments may get deleted or members warned (as they were earlier in this thread's history).
Plus, ultimately, it is up to the seller who they sell to. They can pick new or old members. I sold mine to people who had both Wanted threads, history with OCuK forums and decent trust. No-one wants to deny specific members of a bargain, but at the same time no-one wants to start a transaction where they may end up getting ripped off!
Very decent of Russinating to try and get hold of some from his business accounts. He got a cheap one from the forum community, so is doing his best to reciprocate that favour.
I was going to try and get some more form the PCWB this morning. Hvaing already got my own (and a couple of spares) I have lost the incentive to keep monitoring this thread, and there is no way I can compete with people with loads of browsers open and refresh add-ons and alerts and whatnots!
Sounds like a good deal if it appears here for £150ishJesus there has been a plether of tablets shown today including a 7.7" Lenovo Android one at $200!!! That's not bad

Wonder where we will all be hammering today. Still determined myself to try and get 1 but not exactly hopeful. At least it lessons the boredom in the office in the morning.
I have ordered a Touchstone from there with an ETA of the 13th. Received order confirmation yesterday.

Anyone with outstanding PCWB orders the murmur is that they are attempting to secure more stock for outstanding orders.
Also seems they were not processing orders as they were received but just dealing with them as they pulled off the system.
However they were more then happy to take payment?
So more waiting and hoping.
