HP Z400 PSU pinout help.

Hi i hope someone can help me with this.

So basically the Z400 Psu has a custom pin config that wont work in normal (consumer) ATX boards. Does anyone know if you can connect an adapter either to the Z400 psu,or if i can get an adapter for my VX550 to fit the Z400 board?

A diy site is selling an adapter but I can't link it here as it is a competitor site.
Google z400 psu adapter and it should be on the top list.

Just another thing,what's the best 6 core to pair with this system? I can't overclock so a high base clock is important. Thanks.

Looking at the specs I think you already have the best CPU for that Workstation in there.

I was looking at the X5650 but it's only 2.66ghz base so it's a bit meh imo. I think i'll go with the X5675,or a W3670. Thanks for the adapter link,much appreciated.
