It's a fault with the screen manufacturing process I believe.
There are occasional issues with almost everything that is produced on a mass scale.

Just don't worry about it and use it as normal. If there is an issue, go to an Apple store and get them to bring you out a replacement repeatedly until you are happy with it - they'll do this.
If I see you in the Apple forum asking a thousand questions and trying to find every possible fault imaginable, I'll explode.

Assuming that's a 16GB model, it's not a good deal really.

It is odd though, I know the GS2 had issues with a yellow screen aswell. Are they being made by the same supplier or something?
