Is this the same thing that was on at the barbican a few years ago? obviously they would have updated it since then.

"investigate the relationship between films and gaming":

Terrible game based on film <> terrible film based on game

:p

Should be fun anyhow. I'm not sure where gaming is headed. I'm interested in the Wii and generally I find Nintendo release products which are innovative and fun, rather than the same old games with better graphics. The games I play are years old since nothing since has interested me or has anything new to offer over them!

this was on in edinburgh a few years ago. I spent a lot of time playing bubble bobble.

Would I be right in thinking that its open 24/7? One of my friends spent 72 hours playing games at something like this and had to sleep for 23 hours afterwards.

I wasn't thinking of games that old, but I think the newest games I play are still 3 or more years old. I still think Pinball illusions is the best pinball game though and that is from 1996 or something.

I think it has been here a couple of times. I went in 2002 (possibly early '03) and it was in the museum on Chambers St, so I doubt it would have been open 24/7.
