Im very heavily involved in a large scout event which runs over 2 weekends. We have several databases in access which are used for peoples personal details and more importantly, logging where different items of Site Safety kit goes.

But surprise surprise, it doesnt work. Would some one be able to knock me up some form of database using php i could stick on my comp. Ill post a much more detailed analysis if anyone kindly agrees :)

Unfortunately we are limited to php :( Basically my idea was this.

This is the equipment we have :

High vis jackets - numbers from 1-200, but some are missing so i would enter and change that.
Black Jackets for Bar area - 1-50, again some are missing
Radio's - 1-30
Radio accessories which comprise - 10 earpieces, 10 coiled mics (will be numbered)

Now if i was any good at php, my idea was to have a form which the user selected the item, the items number and entered their name and armband number.
Then whenever they bring it back, you enter the name and select the item they have returned. Now this sounds like a lot of work to me, but i would be greatful if someone could have a go.

Im going back onto site now, and will hopefully be sorting out the internet up there so will be able to post fingers crossed.

Rob :)
