Human Recycling: Corpses are the Prize in Global Drive for Profits

Tbh, I think this is what should be happening and should be accepted in society (legally ofcourse). Why the hell do we need our bodies when we're dead?

If I die tomorrow I want as much money made out of my body as is possible to help find a worthy cause.

If that involves me becoming a prostitute for a necrophiliac to raise money for charity then having every single bone and organ in my body donates to the NHS, so be it. **** you society and you stupid views on "respect". I'll be dead - I'm not being the greedy **** who hangs on to my wordly possessions because of some stupid outdated views.

I have no problem with this, what I have a problem with is someone PROFITING from my deceased corpse. Donate my organs to the NHS, but don't sell them :( (I'm not suggesting that the NHS do actually sell body parts, I'm referring to other sources).

treatment lol make me laugh

all the doctors do round my area is give you paracetamol and push you on your way

i dont got to doctors or hospitals.

to answer your question nope i wont have treatment for cancer/disease/illness

but an infection it depends on the sort as i can fix an infected wound myself

basically what im saying is i dont do hospitals

Um..... if you have an actual injury like a broken arm or head wound, or internal bleeding etc, and phone an ambulance, youre not going to just be given paracetemol rofl.

Good luck with that

I made it clear that when I peg it, my organs are to be used to save lives, the rest of me though...well, I want that loaded into some nice British military artillery and for me to be used as the opening round in a salvo!

wait until riggormortis sets in, stand me in a field and use me for target practice- shell sized projectiles preferably, then just sweep up the mess and dump it in some deep hole to the rest of time.

When I die I won't particularly care about my body. As long as it makes someone's life better, through donation or medical research, I'll be happy.

I can't believe some people are so selfish to think otherwise. What the hell are you going to do with your body when you die? **** all. So you may as well try and help others.

I've got no problem with donation and transplants, but did any one else think that was on the rather morbid side?

Can't wait for the day we can grow body parts and organs though, would make me a little less queasy anyway. :p

Donating or not is an option that each individual can make themselves. I can't comprehend the mindset you'd need to have in order to believe that the state has the right to plunder an individual's organs regardless of their wishes.

You're dead, why should you have a right to something you will never use again when the option is save someone's life or let them rot?

I consider people who refuse to donate organs no better than those with fundamentalist religious views, they are equally illogical and boil down to "it's what I believe so there".

So it is no different to your position only you are too blind to see it?

My position has an ounce of logic, where is the logic behind purposefully letting something that can save another persons life rot or be turned to ash?

I've yet to see an argument against organ donation that doesn't revolve around personal beliefs.

Your position is based on personal belief and nothing more. Your position is based on the idea that it's more worthy of saving a life than waste those organs which is a fair belief. To think people that don't agree with you havent come to that position based on logic is rather presumptuous.

Care to explain the rational behind purposefully not saving a life then?

That's what I want to hear. What is the REASON for denying organs to someone in need, where is the logic behind that concious decision.

My reasons are pretty clear, I won't need my organs after I die therefore the most reasonable and logical option is for them to be used to help others.

I think I'd rather have the state take my organs by default and give them to those who meet the criteria for receiving the transplant, than have some criminal take my organs between my place of death and burial plot, to sell on the black market only to those that can afford it.
