Dunno about Alonso but did anyone else see Seb clocking that Red Bull in Parc Ferme?
Bet he's on the blower to Christian !

It was such a look of "I want to be in that car!"

Horner would probably take him back for old time's sake, but I suspect Max would crush him more than any other team mate to date in both qualifying and races.

did someone mention earlier that hamilton didnt open his DRS on opening straight of his lap?

Any more of this? i imagine that would cost 0.2 seconds on a lap

:D
No, it was built for monza and about 1-2 other tracks, so let’s hope they get an easy win there. They forgot about the remaining tracks on the calendar.

It's no longer important. I would love to see either Ferrari focusing the development for next year, or just stopping their participation in this series and establishing alternative series.

Off you go then. Ferrari need F1 more than F1 need Ferrari.

Ferrari would seriously lose face if they left now.

I think it would be better for Ferrari to begin something new, fair and strictly racing oriented. No shows, no entertainment, only pure competition.

"If you haven't heard already, Ferrari is threatening to quit Formula One if engine regulations set to begin in 2021 take effect. Now, FCA boss Sergio Marchionne has revealed Ferrari could start an entirely new race series if relations with F1 continue to degrade." https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/a14471467/ferrari-threatens-to-quit-formula-1/

Much as I hate to post anything that would support @4K8KW10's fevered rantings, those two quotes there are absolute balls :)

Ferrari could quite easily survive not being in F1. The road car business is more than enough to keep the company alive, and there are other categories to race in (enduros, GTs). F1 on the other hand is propped up mainly by the enormous fees being charged to host races and the fairly enormous fees paid by TV companies to show the circus on pay TV. Won't take much for one of those sources to dip and suddenly F1 will need all the friends and viewer draws it can get.

You may not like them or even respect them, but for a lot of fans worldwide Ferrari are the element that draws them to the sport.

Besides, what the hell are people going to hate on instead if they did go?

You do realise those two articles were from the end of 2017 back when the late Sergio Marchionne was in charge? I don't remember hearing anymore statements on leaving this year whilst the real crunch negotiations for 2021 are taking place.
