I have been putting this off for a while now but Kingston have come in and put one of their new Fury pads on my desk and told me to use it.
The main reason I have been putting it off is due to the competition.
As many of you are aware, the SteelSeries QCK is easily the most professionally used surface range in esports. Even by players sponsored heavily by other brands!
The HyperX fury mouse pads are basically what Kingston/HyperX think a great mouse mat should be. They are honestly, quite similar to the QCK range which is no bad thing. The advantages are that they offer good pricing and sizes not on offer by other brands.
The Small and Medium are very basic in fairness. Perhaps good for high sensitivity players or those with limited space. Quality is nice and the design is fairly clean.
The Large and XL are where this range will really hit the market hard.
Large is similar in dimensions to the best selling QCK Heavy and it tracks pretty much the same.
The XL is the same thickness but with a full desk approach, something not many competitors have done, or at least done well. Generally the full desk mats are either too thin or the surface doesn't track precisely enough.
Put simply, I have used the Large Fury mat for about 20 minutes and can honestly say it is one of the best mats we sell. It is also cheaper than many of its equivalents.
