Does anyone lnow the time period, by which a manufacturer must honour an on-site warranty?. Got a DOA on an LCD, and it will have been a week ago tomorrow, when they were notified, and still we wait for them to get stock

When my Hyundai died, I emailed Repairtech to sort it out, there were reasonable fast to respond and offered to Swap it for a refurbished monitor.

I didnt take the offer though, didnt like the ld90 at all, and after a fair bit of hassle, got the e-tailer i got it from to give me refund instead, but repairtech were good at offering the support.

Were they now? I left my monitor into repairtech 3 months ago, and their '14 day repair' time is just alittle overshot. I have contacted them twice and recieved the same BS about it just being repaired and how it would be with me soon. The funniest part of the matter is that the hours they claim to have put in would make repairing the unit more expensive than replace it.

Obviously they don't wanna admit that they're backlogged because that indicates poor quality on Hyundai's part, but I do have to say this is very bad support. They had my monitor since October 2006. I could even leave it at that...
