Deep enough to need flatting back before spraying as well. Why do I bother trying to keep it looking reasonably good when some moron does this?

/goes off to kick the neighbours cat.....

That's nothing! Someone did my front wing, door and rear quarter panel a WEEK after I had it resprayed after some moron drove/scraped by.

Haven't bothered respraying it as I now feel it's just cosmetic.

Feel for your frustrations though.

Damn thats just gutting :(

What kind of pleasure do these idiots actually get from doing it though

Now carpark dents and the like are just down to stupidity and lack of care, but why purposfully attack someones car, it does no-one (including the attacker) any good.

If you get it repaired, are you going to get the rear done at the same time?

Not sure where it happened, probably outside the house but could have been at work yesterday.

El, as and when i get it stored I'll probably have a full front end respray (stone chip city) and get the rear badge area sorted as well. Naff all chance of me affording it this year though for various reasons :(

So annoying you have to spend your hard earned repairing the damage that someone else has caused :(

And don't talk to me about stone chips!

Perhaps follow muchers thread on his VX220 key scratches, worked well for my clio door, as ever if you need a hand i'm sure we could arrange something :)

OT, but my car's paint is made of cheese and it's stone chipped all over the place.

What would be a rough guide for a respray on something the size of an S60?

Never had to do it before.

:( That looks nasty :(

Can I talk to you about stone chips?

Dark Blue paint in the VAG range apparently chips the easiest :|
I can tell you that dark grey doesn't like stones either! I have one about the size of a 10p peice on my bonnet :(

Ouch. Have you tried layering on Carnuba wax? That stuff dries as hard as nails.

Damn shame about the RS, its pretty sickening to imagine some moron think. **** him having a nice car the rich ****. Then keying it. What the hell do they get out of it?

Personally if I see a nice car I think "one day..."
