I bought a Civic VTI - Tell me what I can do with it?

He's been here over 8 years:p Honda Revs only closed a couple of years ago didn't it?

Dogbreath - what happened to your cheap turbo MB6 project? I think it was you..

Not me, I had a cheap MB6 a while back but it wasn't turbo'd. It'd been sold on a couple of times since I had it, now with about 160k miles on it and looking extremely tired.

That's just the way they are, no point trying to eek more performance out of it.

Just give it new oil, gearbox oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs.

Save your money for the baby :)

Basically would be my suggestion too. Keep the car running smooth, it's a 1.8 estate at the end of the day, no point trying to make it something it's not :)

Check someone hasn't put in a set of crappy plugs. There were a set of NGK's in when I bought mine and even just fitting a set of decent Denso Irridium plugs (about 50 quid) eliminated a flat spot that I had around 4k rpm. Take the dizzy cap off and check it and the rotor arm as they can corrode a little and that'll affect your spark.
An aftermarket air filter will make it feel faster, and certainly sound better.
