Ok, just ran Crysis for 10 mins and that seems to have stressed them a little more. Still not loud, but can notice them a little. Still not bad though & am more than happy with the noise level

What is the noise like on the 6900 cards? also what are the temps like, especially in crossfire?
I was looking to get 2 6950s or 2 6970s (maybe 1 at a time like jorzeh) but then read that the cooler isn't as good as it could've been. Now i'm worried that the cards will run loud and/or hot.
So now I'm considering a couple of the pre-order MSI GTX570s. I don't expect them to be cooler or quieter, but I would expect them to perform a little better.

i used to buy my componets outa of there they dont get any good stuff in thats why i stopped buying outa there it seems they buy cheaper products and expecting to make aload of money of them.

I was going to drive up this morning to RMA a pink cold cathode that was supposed to be red. However, with 90 mins driving through snow on the M6 ahead of me, I decided to put it off till after Xmas.
Heavy night last night Mr K? Unfortunately for me (fortunately for my wife) there is no decent performance PC retailers in the Belfast area to drop into. Purple shirt place don't count. Guess that has saved me a fortune
When you get it all up and running can you give us an indication of how loud they are when stressed please Jedi? There is mixed messages online - from quiet to tornado in a box levels
Are there any anywhere in Northern Ireland? I think the rest of the world is too scared to give us proper tech in case we find more inventive ways of killing eachother.
