Last year I had major bad luck by losing my job after 27 years but I didn't lose hope and went back to College etc.
By absolute total luck I ended up on an NHS Course and during the first day the tutor wasn't too good with computer hardware so I helped her.
This started a chain reaction that saw me doing a placement in the Career & Skills Academy and 2 weeks ago I applied for, was interviewed and offered the job as the NHS Healthcare Careers Support Officer
On the day I got my job my wife told me that on may 29th (my birthday) I'm going to be standing next to the Pyramids in t'Egypt.
I started my new job yesterday and up to yet I've interviewed 35 potential new NHS Apprentices.
On arriving back to the office (that I share with 10 women) I was told to check my email and fill my diary in.
Amongst my tasks is a trip to London to visit the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the O2 with about 20 Apprentices
I knew things would eventually go right for me.
