I has Sandybridge - Excellent service OCUK

God damn you dave beast. :D

I am this -><- close to putting an order similar to your spec but using a 2500K and a MSI P67A-GD65.

How is that CoolerMaster Hyper 212 plus cooler?

Takes me up to 4.8ghz with no drama, running on a 4.5ghz 24/7 with idle temps in the low to mid 20's :D

Don't think I posted this in here yet. A look at the cooler and mobo

Just over 1 week on, a few bios's later, now running 1.8b5 bios, i've finally managed to hit 5ghz at quite a low vcore, and temps were 38c at ghz idle :D

Only ran just long enough to obliterate my previous SuperPi 1m time, now returned back to a happy 4.5ghz at 1.27vcore

The new bios adds quite a few extra settings for extreme overclocking, not on MSI's main site, you have to search for it

Just an update to my previous SuperPi 1m :D

Ran the ram a little slower, and the chip a little higher for the test - Note, the actual vcore on the voltage point on the board was 1.595v, so CPU-Z is wrong

For the above overlock which was for running SuperPi only, was running a CM Hyper 212+ with push/pull Coolermaster fans at full throttle, temps didn't get over 50c as the cpu wasn't getting stressed.
